Trans News That Doesn’t Suck
Trump tried to nationally ban hospitals from providing trans care. The pushback was severe, so he failed. LET’S GO!
Florida’s so-called Stop WOKE Act, championed by
airheadanti-trans Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, was just barred from being applied to colleges, universities, and workplaces on Tuesday. And check it: a Trump-appointed judge voted against the act.
Congrats to the plaintiffs, and if you want to see more wins like this, support the ACLU.
The US Department of Justice has suffered another setback in their quest to invade the privacy of trans children’s healthcare in California. YAY!
Speaking of Cali: the state just budgeted $26 million to protect access to gender-affirming care from federal attacks. AMAZING!
The Idaho-based nonprofit Trans Affirm has released an “Inclusive Bathroom Map” to help trans people in the state find safe restrooms. AMAZING!
Per this actually reputable study, kids do NOT detransition often. It also shows that when kids transition, it is after YEARS of processing and effort. Send this to your local transphobe!
A Pride display created by little kids was set on fire. The community fought back in full force.
Patricio Manuel, the first trans man to step into a men’s pro boxing ring and fight, announced his retirement from boxing over the weekend. Thank you for everything, Patricio!
Anti-trans South Carolina politician Lindsey Graham died. There’s no reason to be sad about it.
